Swiggy’s Bolt Revolutionizes 10-Minute Food Delivery in 400+ Cities

Swiggy Food Delivery has expanded its 10-minute food delivery service, Bolt, to over 400 cities across India, redefining the quick food delivery landscape. Initially launched in October in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune, Bolt is now catering to both major hubs and smaller cities.
Cities like Jaipur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Indore, Coimbatore, and Kochi are enjoying Bolt’s rapid delivery service. Even tier-2 and tier-3 cities such as Roorkee, Guntur, Warangal, Patna, and Nashik are part of this impressive expansion. The highest demand has been observed in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, followed by states like Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Punjab.
Swiggy Food Delivery has partnered with popular brands such as KFC, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Burger King, Baskin Robbins, Chaayos, and Eatfit, ensuring customers have a variety of options delivered swiftly.
With a sharp rise in competition, startups like Zepto are expanding similar services, while Swish, a Bengaluru-based company, recently secured $2 million to grow its operations. Despite the fast-paced service, Swiggy ensures that delivery partners are neither penalized nor rewarded for Bolt order times.
Rohit Kapoor, Swiggy’s head of food delivery, stated, “A decade ago, Swiggy reduced average delivery times to 30 minutes. Bolt takes this a step further, catering to frequently ordered items.”
As Bolt grows, it presents significant opportunities for food businesses to reach more customers. This expansion showcases Swiggy’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction in the food delivery space.
